Dear Member,
Welcome to 2026
The time of year for renewals is approaching. We hope you’ve had an enjoyable year on our waters.
Apart from the obvious about unattended rods, Fixed rigs and rubbish etc, we wish to remind you all that the 24 hour rule for fishing on Loftmans One, remains as 24 hour accumulation in any seven day period. New members cannot night fish Loftmans One and must vacate the fishery at the end of their day session. They can fish our other waters overnight, and then return to Loftmans One the next day if enough hours remain in their 24 hours.
Loftmans 2 will be one rod only from June 1st to September 30th inclusive.
The AGM has agreed no increases in membership fees which are reflected in the renewal form with this communication. Work Party levies have been stabilized at £50, OAP’s and registered disabled members remain exempt, but welcome.

If you wish to receive these messages then please ensure that you add your mobile phone number to the form as under GDPR we have decided that to protect us from any difficulties the list is wiped back to nothing and started again every year. The Committee
Seefas Fishing Club
Welcome to SEEFAS!
70 years. That's how long our lines have been in the water.
In 2020, SEEFAS proudly celebrated its Platinum Jubilee, marking seven decades of passion, community, and spectacular angling.
The journey began in 1950 when Sid Hutt, a dedicated local tackle dealer, gathered 42 fellow enthusiasts to form a club. They had a simple vision: to create the best fishing experiences for local anglers.
That vision has flourished. From those humble beginnings, SEEFAS has reeled in control of six stunning waters and built a vibrant community of 350 dedicated members.
We're not resting on our laurels. The club is continually developing and growing to ensure we deliver truly top-tier fishing—today, and for generations to come.
We invite you to join our rich history and exciting future.
It makes you wonder: with such a strong foundation, where will the current take us in another 65 years? The best is yet to be caught!
Reed Boat At The Puddle and Wallasea
We've been managing the reed growth at The Puddle and Wallasea with a reed boat, carefully removing some to keep the lakes in optimal condition. Reeds are essential for providing fish with food, shelter, and fry protection, and they also naturally control algae. However, too many reeds can hinder water movement and create risky snag areas. Rick Gibbinson's direct involvement ensures we strike the right balance, enhancing both the environment and the fishing experience.
